I'm in love with Leo

One of the sexiest men in movies IMHO, is Leonardo Dicaprio. He was born Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio in Hollywood, California on November 11, 1974. He was named Leonardo because His mom was standing in front of a da Vinci painting in Italy when Leo kicked her. That sign prompted her to name him after the painter. 

He started acting at a very young age and no wonder; just look how cute he was.

He’s been setting girl’s hearts fluttering since he was a kid and he’s just gotten sexier as he’s gotten older.

I fell head over heels in love with Leo when I saw him in Titanic. I was really surprised because I usually go for the dark hair, dark eyes, sexy Italian type, but by the time the movie was over, I was in love. I’ve got posters and pictures of him all over my room and a whole scrapbook devoted to Leo.

The first time Leo was on TV he was only 3 years old. He was on a show called Romper Room and was nearly kicked off for uncontrollable behavior. It sounds like he was a little troublemaker, but I’m sure because he was so cute and looked so good on camera, they gave him a second chance. 

His mother is German and his father is Italian, and their backgrounds had a major influence on his upbringing. His father produces underground comic books and comic arts out of his garage. His mother was a legal secretary (before she began managing Leo's affairs.) They might be best described as liberal, pot-smoking hippies: "Whatever I did would be something they'd already done. I mean, my dad would welcome it if I got a nose ring." He remembers such household guests as comic-book artist Robert Crumb, writer Charles Bukowski, and novelist Hubert Selby, Jr. visiting as a child. "We're not the hippie family who only eats organic and the children meditate and go to a school of the arts. But we're not apple-pie and Republican, either."

In 1998 Playgirl magazine was going to publish nude photos of him, but he sued them and won. Too bad, I would have loved to see them.

As gorgeous as Leo is, he really hates being thought of for his looks alone. He wants to be considered for his acting first. He once said in an interview:

"My God, no! I hate this whole hunk thing! I feel when I see myself in that, and these other cute faces, that I'm just part of this meat factory, like, 'Wow! Here's the hunk of the month! This month we're shoving Leonardo DiCaprio down your throat! Isn't he cute. Let's put him on the cover and we'll sell so many more magazines...' That's definitely not what I want to be, and I've tried real hard to get away from that whole situation."

Well Leo, I think you’re a talented actor who will have a fantastic lifelong career, but you can’t deny the fact that you are a hunk who makes my heart do flip-flops.
